LAC Respect

A larger image of the cover will open in a new window Fulfilling the needs of looked after children (LAC) at school can be a challenge. Chatback understands this, so they've created a fun, factual resource to support and educate teachers.

Using the testimonies of key experts and LACs these films aim to:

  • Discuss the key issues that LACs experience at school
  • Help teachers to understand why LACs react like they do
  • Advise on how to support LACs within the school environment.

LAC Respect is the voice of looked after children and those who know them best, providing classroom teachers with guidance, reassurance and real answers.

The film was funded by Children in Need and was launched at the NEC on July 11th at a national conference for headteachers and other senior local authority officers.
